Burks likely done for season?

I expected this news. It's perfect timing today, when other reports were saying he'd come back in tonight's game. Par for teh course.
 
I'm also glad that I could get a post in here before fishonjazz and Cy take it over.

RIP Burks! Good luck on your gymnastics career in heaven!

I was told Burks hoped to return Friday, meaning he's close. Tony said this week. It's up to the Jazz.

I feel like someone could have predicted this ****... Oh wait I did!

Our medical staff is not this innovative new age amazing compilation of great minds... They are *******, plain and simple. Burks wants to be out there but they hold him out. He's probably been okay to play for a couple weeks but with the end of the season in sight they hold him out to make sure their asses are covered.

It's not innovative to take twice as long to let a player come back from injury... Its conservative. Let the guy come back and play a little before a long offseason. The bone is healed... Any other injury would have to be a new injury that could be sustained in any game.

Probably nothing, but I was listening to The Vertical's podcast w/ Rodney Hood this morning and they asked him about the Exum/Burks injuries and how that impacted the Jazz morale for the season, he said the usual thing but at the end he said "... hope we get them back healthy next year".
 
Really makes me think that he is being held out due to worry that bringing him back would ruin the good thing they have going right now or something non health related.

Which I'm ok with btw. The jazz are rolling of late. I'm a little worried myself that if they bring him back it could screw things up.

Im pretty certain that health wise he is ready to play.

Favs missed a lot of time being day to day... they kind of were bishes there.

I think they have a trade worked out (or hopes for a trade), but can't get it done if he is hurt.
