Do the Jazz abandon "the process" this summer?

Sore losers in this thread mad that Harrison Barnes has more championship rings than Malone and Stockton combined.. Nothing else to see here.. Other than people defending a pathetic 40 year old expansion franchise with substanceless, semantics based arguments ..

When y'all go back and refute ha;f of the great points i've made in this thread instead of cherry picking semantics garbage I'll respond accordingly

Y'aall will always be some lames from Utah to me, laugh it up ll you want. I see the crowds in utah, yall are just mad because your women are ugly.. **** i'd be too

I'd make you courtsey like the bitch you are if you spoke like that to my face. so don't think you bother me whatsoever, sound like an inmate to an officer.

Plus y'all arent even considering half of the **** i've accounted for. Want me to catch you up on the argument, so you can disagree, spoiled bitch types.

Negged for being a doosh...

Unfortunately, I came here to admit that there is some legitimacy to maxing Barnes, the main reason being that the cap is expected to rise even higher over the next two years, and PGABDOOSH is probably right that Barnes will likely be very tradable in the near future for that reason, even at that amount. Secondly, since everybody will have spending money, Utah definitely needs to look high and low for ways to improve. It won't be easy.

Just the same, the reason I'm against it remains the same, which is I can't support a move that sends Hood to the bench for a player I believe he could be better than as early as next year, if we keep developing him.

P.S. I credit Spycam for making me take a better look at this, as I greatly respect his opinions.

Will he be cheaper? The fact that there are talks about Barnes getting maxed out means Bazemore (I doubt it though, but it's not like Bazemore will be cheap at all) could very well be maxed out too.

There is no telling what people will pay this year. There are only a few top tier free agents and nearly every team in the NBA will have an insane amount of cap-space.

I guess I was basing it off the notion that Barnes is a max guy and I just don't see Bazemore getting the max. But if Tristan Thompson can get the deal he got, anything is possible.

I think we've just discovered ncoloradojazz's alt. EXPOSED!

I won't defend PG AB's argument style, but I think overall that considering trying to get Barnes is worthwhile. He's less than 6 months older than Hood. Those who think Hood will continue to develop should think the same about Barnes. He's not a perfect player, but would fill a very useful role on the team. And if you're going to get a free agent this year (outside of the top 3 or 4), you're going to be overpaying.

If you want an example of PGAB being wrong.

*Yes he is still young and could turn it around next year. PGAB could still turn out looking like a genius on this one*
I missed on that one. I loved him, and viewed him like I viewed Lyles before the draft, but more athletic and better inside game. Hasn't exactly panned out that way so far.

Wrong or right, doesn't change the fact that you've lost touch with reality. U don't influence others by acting like some fanatical crazy person

Personally I'd like to think He's as good and worth a max deal, but I can't help but think he struggles leaving Curry and that all time great team. I doubt he's even the same player on another team.

You all right brah? Did you have 1 or 5 too many shots yesterday?

Harrison Barnes with yet another disappearing act despite the opportunity without Curry on the court. Is the pattern clearing up yet?

He played exactly to his season average.

The underlying argument from earlier was that he is being underutilized and would step up were it not for playing with Curry.

That has consistently failed to happen. As far as your "exactly to his season average" comment, his TS% tonight was 50.5 compared to his season average of 55.8%, but I digress.

Barnes was 4-11 from the field today, 3-7 in game three, 1-10 in game two, and 3-12 in game one. That's a stellar 11 of 40 for 27.5% from the floor in this series.

Max this man.
