Official UofU homer thread

Weber State wouldn't be a bad landing spot for Chapman......they seem to develop players well......but I bet Steve Fisher has been all over dude since the news broke that he is transferring. He'll play point guard for San Diego State. I swear San Diego State only recruits that same body type for every position; Skinny, long 6'8", 6'9" or 6'10". All their guys show signs of being good and have some skills, but are kind of hit and miss. Can kind of shoot, kind of not. That's their prototype. That's Chapman. Done deal. Champman to SDSU, you heard it here first.

Eh. He's always been Hill's replacement. What was once a "come back in 5 years" has now become "it's yours in a couple years" so he decided to stay.

Happens everyday. Not a big deal.

Yeah, it happens every day where somebody accepts a job, has a conference introducing them, and then a week later they come up with the crappy excuse of "housing costs are too high, I gotta back out".

You really are the biggest Utah homer in the world.

Those came off the top of my head in 30 seconds.

It happens everyday. Everyday there are deals to hire/keep a guy and someone comes in at the last minute to offer something better. It's called life. It's ok. It's not a big deal.

Your excitement to call me a homer clouds reality.

Kyle Brennan is an epic douche.

His son has leukemia. He probably did want the job badly. It probably was a great opportunity for him. He then probably realized that there is nothing even close to on par with Primary Children's in Bozeman. He had a change of heart and ultimately did what was best for his family. What a douche, huh?

Those are typically things somebody thinks about before they accept a job, huh?

Jordan got ripped for it too, didn't he? But he never signed a contract either, did he?

The other ones don't have similar situations either. Bad showing from Brennan.

You wanna know who's a douche? Hint: It's definitely you

Dude turned down the job he wanted for the sake of his family. Srsly

Except you're wrong.

He applied for a job.
He was offered the job.
He accepted the job.
He backed out of the contract one week later stating he couldn't find affordable housing (on a $200k/yr salary) and he was worried about the schooling.

I'm fine with him helping his kid out, but that was a situation he knew about before, during, and after the process. Douche was too strong of a word, but I would say he lacks accountability and doesn't show strong leadership. I'll guarantee if somebody did this to the Utes, Green would think it was the wrong thing to do.
