What's new

Ping Pong

I'd be in, at least as a one time thing. Not sure about a regular weekend deal, generally got too much else going on.

That wouldn't be fun for you. Was thinking more of a casual player who wants to get some exercise and get better. I'm not good enough to play against someone who talks about ratings.

I love badminton, you play for 1 hour in a gym, that's your work out done, cardio, stretch, power, etc. everything all combined in 1...

Very minimal chance of an injury too and it doesn't feel like working out, it's fun.

I LOOOOOOOOOVE badminton. Probably haven't played since HS but my grandmother (Oma, God rest her soul) used to have a net set up in her bakc yard and I used to play my brother all the time.

This gets me excited for exposing my daughter to all different sports. Ping pong, badminton, and real sports of course like the regular soccer, swimming, and so forth that most girls do but also tennis, golf, bowling, teeball/softball, and I think I am going to have my brother-in-law teach her wrestling once she's around 4 or 5. He was a very good wrestler at an elite program in NJ and is a beast. I basically want my daughter to grow up to be a hot genius who's able to kick most boy's asses if needed. Oh yeah, **** dance/ballet though. That ****'s dumb.

Edit: She seems to be a heck of climber. I was gonna take her to a rock climbing gym next summer when she's almost three. I think she may be a little young for it though. Maybe next summer, I'll see if she can climb every single thing at Bounce U and then when she's an old 3 the summer after, take her to a good rock climbing gym. Then real rock climbing the summer after that.

So excited for all this.

No to wrestling.
Yes to dance.

Otherwise, great post.

Used to play all the time back in school. Had a table for awhile. Took a couple years break, but now that my 8 year has gotten decent at tennis, we've started playing more. I actually had plans to clean out the basement this weekend and start creating a spot to go get another table.

Why no to wrestling? I won't have her do it competitively but I'll have him teach her over the years.
And **** no to dance. You're wrong. To me, it is dumb as ****. An absolutely worthless endeavor. It doesn't really teach anything but hard work (which any sport also teaches) and how to be anorexic. A very unhealthy pursuit imo. But more importantly, dumb as ****.
