But Hayward is the type of player who would never in a million years turn down a 5 year max (which only the Jazz can offer). He's staying.

I actually think the opposite. I think Hayward is the type of player who could sacrifice that extra year to be on a title winning team. Thing is there's in my mind only 2 true contenders this year and SA behind them. So unless Hayward wants to play for GS, CLE, or SA I don't see why he wouldn't sign here
