This is a step in the right direction.

The NBA’s Board of Governors unanimously approved a proposal on Tuesday that would have each conference’s playoffs seeded by overall record. Before, each division winner within a conference was guaranteed a 1-4 spot, then the remaining four spots were determined by record. Those days are done.

Just get rid of the divisions then. They have no meaning now do they?
 
We are on pace for 50 wins at this rate, if I did the math right.
If we have less injuries the rest of the year, can we pull off 55?
Can we pull it off even with injuries?
 
Last night's recap:

Portland lost, yet again. If they don't get it together they might drop out of the playoffs. Utah is clearly a notch above them.

Suns also lost.

Warriors, Nuggets and Spurs won.

Tonight's games:

Kings @ Grizzlies
Pelicans @ Rockets
Lakers @ Sixers
Clippers @ Heat
Mavs @ Jazz

Tonight could be a very good night for the Jazz. They next 3 teams that Utah is trailing also play tonight. If the bolded teams win than the Jazz would be 1/2 game behind the Grizz and 2 games behind the Rockets and Clippers.

But pay special attention to the Jazz/Mavs and Grizz/Kings games tonight. If Utah wins and Memphis loses then Sundays game of Utah @ Memphis gets even bigger! The Jazz win and they would have the 5th seed and be 1/2 game ahead of Memphis.

This is like the complete opposite of our medical staff, we usually keep our players out 6 weeks LONGER than scheduled. Maybe the water is better in Memphis?
 
Wow, T'Wolves just blew a huge 4th quarter lead to the Rockets. Going into OT.

The Wolves are so dumb for not fouling. They were up 3 with 10 seconds left. Instead of fouling they left Ariza get an open corner 3. Wiggins airballed a half-court game winning attempt after he struggled to bring the ball up the court with any speed.

It's amazing how many teams don't foul in that situation. So dumb, yet I would say not fouling is the more common strategy used.
