Hopefully screening methods got better over the last 13 years.
I'm still expecting something bad.. like a broken kneecap or something. meniscus, etc. did not look good
Last night I checked the defensive ratings, the Jazz were comfortably #1 in the NBA ahead of SAS and MEM.
This morning I checked the box-score to see the Jazz allowed 42 points in the Q1. In their home court... against a below 0.500 EC team..
I think this team relaxes a lot when they're heavy favorites. In fact bookies favored the Jazz +12 to win this one, largest spread I remember in a while. Our team need to learn not to be spoiled and bring their A game no matter what.
Good thing is 1. We have a deep team. 2. We have kind of a European style team management, i.e. it's not players that make the calls but the coaches and only coaches. So let's say Hayward does seem lost, well give some of his minutes to Ingles or JJ.. or Burks (who is coming strong!! by the way.)
Meanwhile good luck to Coach Q with distributing minutes now. Well I think we need to make some trade to address the log jam.
