The Celebrity Apprentice

lulz.. nah, don't think I'll ever get over it.
And actually I wasn't being a dick.. I was poking fun at OL's other thread. Just the Tip got it. You didn't. No biggie.

I got it.

I thought carrying over your heartfelt advice to this thread was kind of douchy.

I've been the beneficiary of your holier than thou advice a few times. It's pretty much why you're not one of my favorite posters.

You're awesome though! I just don't consider people who look down on me and do the big brother thing to me friends. It's weird. I like being friends with people who respect me as their equal. I know I'm not every person's equal. There are people who are better than me. But if they insist on making a point of pointing it out I don't consider them friends.

Like I've said before. I like you fine. But we're not friends. I'm over it. I hope you can get over it, too.

Wow.
Take care.

To clarify something. I clicked "like" on this post, not for the critique of Pkm, because I don't really know him as well as GF does, but because of the statement in the middle about friends being on equal footing. It's something I've always tried to teach my kids. How we treat each other matters. And no matter how far we get in life, there are very few things that can really make one person truly better than another. And none of those things have anything to do with how much treasure or how many toys we amass.

can someone pls resign from jazzfanz so this thread really lights on fire? It could go from suck to awesome. Siro, you got any stinging rebukes to bring to this discussion? Let's get it going.

I hear you. It's all just like how we get the president we deserve. Some dudes watch Friends and jerk to pron so we get this guy who's totally inflammatory with respect to the law, etc. Friends are complicated things.

No one here knows me as well as Trout and UGLI..
and to lesser extent Gyp.

I doubt any of these guys would say I am some kind of holier than thou. It seems laughable to me.
But other's perceptions are part of our realities.

I mean this sincerely, if I come off as "better" kick me in the nuts (be sure I'm not joking which I believe is allowed here) before swinging the foot back, please.

And NAOS .. stfu you douche.

Gameface complaining about 'holier than thou' posting while giving the best example of how it's done is pretty typical Jazzfanz.

I didn't view any of what PKM said as him looking down on anybody. Get a grip and stop feeling sorry for yourselves.

Not trying to engage (quite the opposite), but I'd be surprised if anyone could quote a single thing whereby I'm giving advice as some kind of elitist.

I have never, once, looked down on GF, ever. Never felt sorry for.. honestly no idea where that came from and no clue why I would think that. Guy has poker tourneys, brews his beer, and loves to cook.. doesn't get much better.

Does seem more of a self-perception than one of my own.
