Until the release is granted, Porter isn’t permitted to have contact with potential colleges.

That said, Porter, who is ranked No. 1 overall in the ESPN 100, told USA TODAY Sports of the four schools he’ll be considering: Washington, Missouri, Virginia and Oklahoma.

On Washington: “I love Seattle and from what I hear Mike Hopkins is that dude so I’m gonna talk to him and see what he’s saying.”

On Missouri: “That’s home for me and they reached out to my dad with a job offer so if he accepts that, not saying I’ll definitely go there, but it’d be big.”

On Oklahoma: “They’ve got Trae (Young) and before any commitments happened we talked about being college teammates. Now that opportunity is back and I know we’d do our thing and do something special.”

On Virginia: “I know they’re not super offensive-minded but my best friend Kyle Guy goes there and back when they were recruiting me they always talked about needing a scorer. If I go there I can step into that role.”

Glad Jarrett Allen declared. He's a lottery pick. Jay Williams said on PTI that Bacon is s first rounder. He isn't. Probably mid second.

It never made any sense for DX to have him in the 2018 draft, other than it helped with not having a cluster**** of bigs 10-20 in the 2017 mock..

They have James Banks there and are attempting to recuit Mo Bamba.. Someone would be the odd man out, it'd be Banks if Allen returned.. that would kinda suck too. Banks is primed for a huge uptick in production, he's way more unheralded than Bamba and Allen who can skate by on reputation tbh. Banks on the other hand is gonna have to prove his mettle, he's got all the tools to be an elite shotblocker in college, 7'6" wingspan too....

thats why the 2nd rounds of my mocks are way more loaded than the ones u see on DX or most of the ones around the internets

Late to the discussion here. Have you guys talked about DJ Wilson in the 2nd round this year? Is he expected to enter the draft?

DJ Wilson is no longer 2nd rd grade or even fringe-1st tbh. Safely in the first. I'd have no qualms with them taking him with the 25th pick.. Might actually be a steal at that spot..

Even tho he's a Jr. he might be able to work himself into the lottery next year if he stays.. who knows.. It's conceivable he could go flying up boards this year.. He's got a fantastic NBA skillset, better than former #2 pick Derrick Williams or even #1 pick Anthony Bennett..

I have a friend thats an ex-pro he's 6'7" and a SF/PF tweener, can REALLY shoot it even tho he's built like an ox.

He's sold on DJ WIlson hook-line-and-sinker. thinks he could beat some of these players 1v1, but not Wilson. Says he should be a lottery pick.

Boatwright the only pure stretch 4 in this draft besides Markannen.
