What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

Makes sense they like Jackson. I remember when there was rumors they were going to take Winslow with the 4th pick.

Can't believe the Nets are gonna be another year without draft picks.

I thought you couldn't trade away picks from consecutive years?

He is undersized with short wingspan he more of a Lou Williams or the Microwave

QUOTE=ONE LOVE;1381935]Interesting to see who Phil Jackson will pick with the Knicks pick (currently 6th).

Say what you will about Phil, he did get the Porzingis pick right.

Would he pair Fox with Porzingis? Or would he grab Monk and groom him as his new Kobe/MJ?
I think monk could be a great sixth man. Smoy candidate type. His size starting at the 2 spot isn't very appealing.Jackson could be a star but I think worse case with him is he is lockdown defender. At this point he reminds me of Khawi who came into the league with questionable offensive game

I really dislike Josh Jackson. Not a huge fan. Same goes with Monk.

Very intriguing prospect . Bet Phil would love to grab him and pair him with KP. That be the future twin towers look since bigs are becoming shooters more every year

QUOTE=White Chocolate;1381961]Lauri Markkanen is entering the draft.

Is Chimezie Metu expected to enter this year's draft? I agree with PG_AB that he's underrated. If he measures out at 6'10," he's a pretty ideal physical prospect, and his FT%, passing and rebounding rate look pretty promising. He could be a great complement to Gobert and can probably extend his range out past 20 feet at least.

Edit: I'm trying to remember what Marquese Chriss showed last year that Metu hasn't showed this year.

He didn't look great against the great athletes Simeon High School has.. The top prep player here in Colorado is going to the Buffs. Great body size and strength shwartz
I think thatsnhow you spell his last name but he future all pac12 type.gym rat gets tossed around a lot but it's true with him

QUOTE=PG_AB;1381450]He looks to be built more like a Wayne Selden than a Evan Turner to me.. I'm not crazy about him, I like Dajon Davis better, he's got way more pep in his step.
Yes Melo should of left after his first season but I still seen him getting drafted and he is going be a solid back up pg for years. He can shoot it and his passing is underrated
. Got to remember he only been playing point for three years. He came to school as a combo guard

I meat Mark Smith game is more Evan Turner like. He sees the floor good and is shifty and crafty to make up for his lack of athletic ability. He does have a good first step and great handles..reminds me of a former tall Illinois PG for the flyin illini, Steve Bardo. Mark Smith is a 3 to 4 year college player imo

The thing about Mark Smith thats gets me is.. UK shoulda went after Paul Scruggs if u're looking for a guard built like a meatball.. He was on the radar years ago..

I wonder if there was a bit of "prospect fatigue" that set in with Scruggs..

Gimme the Canadian Luguentz Dort in the HS class of 2018.. I've been hyping that kid here since he was ranked WAY lower than he is now..
