Anyway, I saw Meek's Cutoff last night. The ending was incredibly gutsy. And the only reason I saw it was because my good friend Christopher Blauvelt was the DP. He killed it!
 
Watched the original TRON with the family before watching TRON Legacy. Wow was it every bad. I remembered being a teen and LOVING the original TRON. Now it was almost painful to watch. I loved the carryover from Superman the movie, obviously fake glasses to differentiate between characters played by the same actor. The actress was pretty hot though in her black-light TRON outfit.

I watched the original Tron after the new one.....I was actually surprised they even made a new one. Man did the original suck.

I thought 5 was the worst but other than that I totally agree. That being said even seasons 2 and 5 of the show are pretty damn good. Actually tv dramas are in some sort of golden age now IMO, and thanks to them getting released on DVD it's like watching a really good movie that just keeps going. If I could find a damn Blockbuster that has Breaking Bad around here I'd be watching that now. I'm also pissed I can't find the first season of Justified anywhere.

Seriously? The last six movies were pure rubbish, so I don't know why I thought this one would be so good. I was bored out of my mind. I am a massive fan of the books, but damn, why do the movies suck so bad?

Epic win. An example of Japanese B-movies at their best. My favorite moments involved a duel with butt swords, in which three robo geishas turned around and waved their butts at each other, and a scene where a giant mechanized castle starts chopping off the tops of buildings, which then start gushing blood. You heard me right... the buildings were bleeding. Does it make sense? Hell no. Is it entertaining? Well, that's debatable I suppose, but I found it all very amusing. It's one of those movies that's so bad that it's positively wonderful.

Believe it or not, it's streaming on Netflix, that's where I watched it. And it has the most hilariously awful English dub in the history of ever.
 
God, Breaking Bad is good.

I can hardly distinguish the hard core bad *** Bryan Cranston, from the zany dad from Malcolm in the Middle. God that guy's got range.
