Game 3 Thread: 6:30 PM MT Time

If I am DL I'm sacking Q's ***.

I am jack of this BS.

Mack plays 37 minutes!! He shoots 3/11 and has 1.67 A/T ratio and is a +6. Now based on everything I hear from many on this forum - the shooting number is bad, the assist number not much better and the +/- meaningless.

Dante is yanked after his 3 minutes. Lyles DNPCD AGAIN.

Quin is basically saying, DL you fuc*ed up our last two lottery picks.

If I am DL I can see what is going on. A young coach living for today.

How the hell does Hood fly under the radar?
How does Mack who is statistically one of the worst defensive pg in the NBA allowed to dominate those minutes?

If Q can't see that there is no championship through the Hill/Mack path - then he MUST be fired.

Q has headfu**ed Dante all the way from SLC to Melbourne and back again like a motherfu**ing boomerang.

Dante is a respectful kid who wants to get better, but knows only too well the consequences of his mistakes.

If Q doesn't believe that Dante is going to be good - I hope he tells DL straight up and then something can be done.

Obviously the Jazz think they have the next Pop in Q, so it's X who will be gone.

What a friggin joke!

Disclaimer: This rant was written by an unabashed Australian Dante homer. Durrrh!

And before anyone tells me how great Mack was...

- In the first 3 minutes he let Curry cut back door for a layup (after contesting his first shot granted)
- and then fouled Klay
- then a TO passing to Ingles

Seems like he should have been yanked to me - Dante style!

X should learn to play semi-dirty like Curry. Then the refs might respect him.

Go back and have a look at the 1:30 mark left in Q1. Curry is pissed that he didn't blow by X for a layup so he shoves him massively in the back to create space.

The crowd went nuts. Refs saw nothing. A bit like Q when watching Mack fu** up.

This game is a microcosm of why I want anyone to beat the Warriors. Getting Durant has made this playoffs awful. This might be a competitive series without him, and it's not like the Warriors weren't a great team before they had them. I don't think it'll happen, but I'll be rooting for the Spurs and Cavs massively coming up.

Come on, Nate! I thought you were a basketball (Jazz) purist! GS is everything good about the NBA these days! They AVERAGE 30 assists! That's old time Jazz basketball...and then some! They "trust" each other out there and don't care who shoots or who scores! And there shooting percentage, forced shots and 3 point launching aside, is a joy to behold! EVERYBODY in the NBA is overmatched against this GS squad. They will not lose to the Cav's this year, that's for sure! Shouldn't have lost last year! The Jazz can learn something for this GS team, especially when it comes to being a "professional" Gobert, as young and talented as he is, needs to stop hanging on the rim every time he dunks the ball....and STOP missing free throws! GS will go 4,4,4 on there way to this years Championship, I know it, you know it and your grandmomma knows it! And its a pleasure to watch them do it!

*Q's gameplan/adjustments for game 3 were very good.
*He didn't have enough players on his team that he felt confident could execute it.
*We are below the salary floor

It is quite an illusion to say if we were healthy...
They are just way better

Impossible to know since we have never been healthy.

No offense but I don't give two ****s what other fanbases think of our team, and neither should you. It's silly
No offense taken, it was sub forum from a 49ers board that I've been part of for over 10 years. You know, San Francisco/Oakland area so many of them are dubs fans? I've communicated with these guys for many years.

Despite your opinion, I like hearing that this team is gaining a lot of respect around the league. These guys offered very mature, high basketball IQ insight unlike some dude here that spent the ENTIRE game talking about some Pokemon figure offering little to nothing but a slight annoyance of caps.

If this team were healthy, I think we could easily push this to a 6 game series. George Hill was ****ing incredible this season pre-toe injury. It's just sad how it ended up. It's cool to see Hayward going up and putting up great games vs an all-time great team and Gobert playing great also. There is something to be said about finding out Hayward/Gobert are more than just "consistently productive players". I think they are legitimate stars.
I think you're right. The problem is this - we aren't and can't stay healthy. Hood, Favors, Hill and Burks are liabilities. Every team is allowed a couple, but we have 4 of our top 7 players who are liabilities.

We have to consider adding pieces who are more reliable.

100%. This team is at the point that it can't afford missing it's key components for half a season or more, plus key playoff games. The window can close extremely fast for sports teams.

I know guys have mentioned it, but Quin lost supporters last night. Mack plays 37 minutes and Exum plays 3. The last thing we need is to be questioning the coach. That is a massive hit to a team trying to build a contender.

Every realistic fan knows that we weren't a contender this year. However, we aim to be contenders within the next couple years with the necessary development. Our chances for contention lies with Gobert, Hayward, Favors, Hood and Exum.

Playing Mack 37 minutes and Exum 3 is illogical. If Hill was 100% healthy, playing Exum only 3 minutes still is illogical. Quin created doubters last night.

Gotta somewhat disagree here though. I don't think Quin has a choice because Dante is still at stage one of his development. While Mack can do some stupid **** on a regular basis, Dante has done the same if not worse. Mack at this stage is more NBA ready.

I do agree that 3 minutes is way too low, but I think it's based more on experience. Dante is still extremely raw in that area.
