Following potential 2017 draftees...

Shooting wise Lydon seems like a perfect fit with Gobert. I usually don't like using the college 3 as an NBA predictor, but wow perfect form on his jump shot (unlike Lyles). He should be a reliable 40% NBA 3 point shooter.

Problem is everything else other than shooting.

Brooklyn is still very much in the running. No rule against starting two combo guards.

Yes but they have committed to some dead long term salary in Mozgov... may not be worth the risk to overpay an older Hill.

The idea was just that what would they do with the space may as well overpay and eat it on the backend... now they may be less likely to eat the backend of an overpay.

Problem is everything else other than shooting.

He can pass and is a smart player... gets blocks and steals and is an adequate rebounder. He's kind of athletic and has good length.

Not sure why we are knocking the guy so much. Imagine if Lyles made 40% of his threes... you'd live with his other ****. Lydon isn't as good off the bounce but likely thinks through the game better than Lyles.

Huge win for Boston. They pretty much secured next year's top 5 pick.

Why is that... Lopez helps a team win more than mozgov and russell, plus if they get PG3 this year that pick won't convey.

I thought Billy King was fired? Why is the management still so bad at Brooklyn... Lopez is a former all star still very much in his prime... I wouldn't even do Lopez for Russel straight up. Let alone taking on Mozgov's disastrous contract. While giving up another first round pick on top of that? Simply a bad trade all around...
