Dante Exum Full Highlights vs 76ers (2017.07.05) Summer League - 26 Pts, 10 Ast, 5 Reb, SICK!

Can we start to get excited about Exum again?

I was one of the few people who saw some life in this kid during the second half. Yes, he made mistakes, and has a lot to work on, but I saw improvement.
Namely his ability and willingness to drive. He was a fawn his first year in the league. Now he looks like he was to be a Buck.

Get Excited:
1. His speed, and blow by ability.
2. His 3 pt shot is coming along.
3. Willingness to attack, and draw contact.
4. His vision is improving.
5. His length still excites me (thats what she said).
6. His defense.
7. The chemistry he seems to have with Mitchell.

How about him and Mitchell playing combo guards together, sharing the duty? I believe Exums work with Baron Davis will shot itself during the season.

I just think Exum works much better off the ball. All his strengths are suited to off the ball where he can use his quick first step to catch a rotating defense off-guard. Now that he seems to be improving as a jump shooter it makes even more sense.

I would expect the Jazz offense to switch up to being a little more traditional in terms of "We have this primary playmaker making plays for everyone else" instead of the PG by committee thing the Jazz have been doing.

Of course Exum will still be doing PG things at times, I'm not suggest he never run a PNR or bring the ball up the court, but I think his focus should be learning to be the best off-ball player he can be.

@4:20 is pretty funny highlight.

Bolden has really impressed me defensively with his rim protection, but he just gets caught incredibly flat footed there and looks like a giant stiff.

This team needs ball handlers badly.

Wings can handle too.

I'm not sure I agree with the notion of us needing ball-hanlers at all either.

Currently we have Rubio, Exum, Mitchell, Ingles, Johnson, and Hood who all project as rotation or better players who can handle the ball.

It is about f***ing time the jazz gives exum a chance for the coming nba
regular season. If Dante still only get 15~20 mins a game with plenty of DNP~CD
In between, he should seriously consider asking for a trade.

Mitchell and Exum look like a great back court pairing could be scary good. They look like they've been playing together for years. Mind you only summer league, lets keep a lid on things...

This is the type of game I wanted to see from Dante.

His shot is so damn ****ing awkward though and he has to have the worst hands in the league when attacking the rim or going for a layup. Freakin' ballerina.

many people here said he is going to be a bust.
Does a bust play like this ? LOL

Trey lyles averaged like 30 ppg last summer league and then **** the bed all season against real nba talent.

Hopes should be high but cautious about Dante.

There is something very awkward about his movements. As long as he gets it done I'm ok. When he came into this league he looked like Bambi in the headlights. At least his speed is sexy as hell.

True, but Lyles was shooting every time he got the ball. His shooting percentage wasn't very good.

I'm excited about Dante but as good as he has been playing, I think Mitchell is already better.
