What's new

Following Potential 2018 Draftees

I'd feel differently about Bruce Brown if he were 6'5" or 6'6". At 6'3", he pretty much has to be Reggie Jackson of the Pistons. I don't like the fit with the Jazz. He's probably a bench player.

Measurements are going to be huge for Bruce Brown that ans showing this year was the fluke on his shooting not his freshman year.

I've been very unimpressed with Mikal Bridges' skill-level lately. I kind of am thinking with getting Crowder and moving on from Hood, we need more playmaking and offensive firepower. I've never been a fan of need-based drafting but if they are in the same range/tier I think I would prefer Miles.

I still prefer Mikal but the gap has closed considerably.

What age did Bamba start playing basketball? Did he grow late in his teens or has he always been huge?

Mikal's game could develop at the next level, but if it doesn't he's basically Trevor Ariza, or a better shooting version of Thabo. A nice 3/D wing.

Miles could be a 20-pt scorer. He can do just about everything offensively.

Knox has a high ceiling due to his length, but Miles is probably a safer pick.

Yeah, I'm a huge Miles Bridges fan and would certainly take him over Mikal. I think he'll be an excellent wing player in the era of "positionless" basketball. He's an exceptional athlete and very skilled.

It means pretty much all the guys we've been discussing will be off the board. We should start talking more about Diallo, Simons, Vanderbilt, Gafford, Hutchinson, Bonga, etc.
