When Ben Simmons hits one three pointer he can have his award. This is how I have began to deal with obnoxious Philly fans as well. Just say that all Simmons has to do is hit 1 three pointer. It triggers them hard and is very funny.

Playing Devil's Advocate here. If the shot clock isn't winding down, isn't that just being smart? Why take shots you know you can't hit. Pass the ball, get it back inside the 3Pt line. Work on the 3PT shooting in the off-season and increase your range in games when you're able to hit 30%+.

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE Donovan. I hope he's with the Jazz for the next 15 years. I hope he gets a statue next to Karl and John. But one improvement I'd like to see him make is increasing his efficiency. He still takes too many bad shots. But that's a rookie curve: he's finding out what he can/can't do or should/shouldn't do.

But I will agree Mitchell often HAS to take over games in the 4th for the Jazz. And even when he's had a bad shooting night, he seems to be able to just draw on an inner reserve to make it happen. That's a superstar quality.

Yup. Crazy. And then on the very next play in the video he has a nice no look semi cross court pass to oneal for the three.

"'A lot of sarcastic advice, especially from Joe Ingles, telling me what he thinks I should do,' Mitchell told NBC Sports. 'I watched his highlights from Australia. I don’t think he could jump over a phone book.'

"Can Ingles even dunk?

"'He can, he’s got one on the season,” Mitchel said, sarcastically defending his teammate. “We all pretty much jumped out of our seats like we were celebrating winning the Finals.'"

That had me laughing.

Donovan has national reporters salivating over interviews with him. I'm sure there must be some interviews that were better, but I can't remember a single one. Not even Jordan or Malone gave this good of an interview.
 
Spida is quickly becoming a living, breathing commercial for the NBA. I'm sure there are a few NBA execs who are slapping themselves on the back for inviting him the Slam Dunk Contest.
 
It’d be wise for a lot of companies to start giving this kid some endorsement deals. He’s very smooth, and so likeable.
