1. Agreed. Priority #2 is avoid Houston... I kinda want to take on the hobbled dubs. If Curry is out and Green has not been himself either (KD should be fine) I think we can scare them.

Good news for the Jazz: 2 of the probable losses against the Warriors just became 2 probable wins.
Basically each West opponent has 9 games left, and around 5 are against each other. Therefore, our competition is going to lose games, guaranteed. If one team goes 7-2, math says other is finishing worse than 5-4.
For instance, OKC plays now vs Blazers, @ Spurs, vs Nuggets, @ Blazers.

We gotta take care of business though. 5-4 is probably good enough to finish 8th, just barely.

Uhhh, that last Warriors game and Portland game could both be doozies, especially if the Warriors are getting healthy by that time and want to test their players before the playoffs start.

Actually they’ll all be back except Curry. And even he may be back.

Good chance that they won’t be 100% by then though. I’d be playing Crowder as physical as possible against Durant to give him problems with those ribs. That’s a PAINFUL injury. No Curry + no Durant = vulnerable.

Jazz just need to make the playoffs somewhere. It’s a race to the finish line with the Nuggets. Possible someone else drops out of the running, but I doubt it. Jazz just need to keep winning and it doesn’t matter what anyone else does.
