Jazz 2017/18 Playoff Bus! All Aboard!

Jazz have the 3rd highest CARM-Elo ranking in 538 now. It is the highest rating for the Jazz since March 2010. Although that was only for one game before it dropped below. The only real sustained period at that level was the 2008 playoff run time. Before that it was the 98 Jazz putting up those numbers. But 538 added a playoff experience rating that gives the Jazz -15. If it wasnt for that we would be #2 this year and that would be the highest rating for us since we spiked above that for 1 game after beating the rockets in the playoffs in 2008.

This team really seems like the best team we have had since S&M days.

We have to win that game. Have to. It's going to very tough imo. But if we do, I like how the other games line up The Clips are as desperate as desperate can be and that's a must win for them at home and the Spurs blow on the road. Likewise for the Nuggets but the Pacers can definitely beat them. They showed that yesterday by coming back and beating the Clips on the road. The Dubs have to start getting their **** together imo so they have a little momentum and chemistry entering the playoffs so they could beat the Thunder. The Mavs? Who knows but it's at home so it's possible.

That's unbelievable, too, given what happened in the offseason, and then how poorly the season was going through January. Amazing.

I think we matchup well against the Lakers. I’m not worried about that game very much
 
It's a little crazy that the Nuggets still control their destiny... due to a scheduling quirk. Personally, I'd love to see them make it. I feel they'd put up a better fight than the Wolves. Plus, the Wolves can just go rot in the lottery for their attitude towards Ricky this year.

Ingram and Ball are pretty banged up too. Odds are that we won't see one of them. Just gotta drape someone on Kuzma and I like our chances. Julius Randle has never been a threat to a healthy Jazz team.
 
I think we end up with 47 or 48 wins. It depends on how seriously Golden State takes its last game of the year against us.

How do they calculate that playoff part? There are only a few teams that have a worse playoff adjustment than the Jazz (Lakers, Pistons, Bulls, Magic and Suns).
