Yeah I didn’t want to argue so I threw out a year... it’s obviously more complex than the original poster mentioned but the more I’ve learned about lifting and such the more these reports that “so and such added 15 lbs of muscle in the offseason” make me laugh.
I made a thread about this a long time ago, linking to studies that measure rate of muscle growth and such. It was a response to reports that Burks added 10 pounds of muscle between end of season and summer league. That's 5 pounds of muscles per month. Did he have them surgically implanted? Only way that'd be possible.
