Didn't want to start a new thread and thought this might be the best place to share this story...
I was in Los Angeles about a week and a half ago at Universal Studios City Walk and as I was passing by the Lids store, a Donovan Mitchell jersey hanging on the wall immediately caught my attention. I went in to look at it and noticed that there was only one left on the rack. It was surrounded by full racks of Kobe Bryant, Shaq, Curry, Durant, Lebron jerseys. The only rack that was near empty was the Donovan Mitchell jersey rack. For the hell of it, I asked the salesperson if there were more Mitchell jerseys in the back because there weren't any my size, and he said no they're all out...it has been their best selling jerseys recently. Mitchell jerseys outselling Curry, Durant, Kobe, Shaq jerseys IN California...mind blown.
While I love this video it makes me believe he is destined for greatness, and it will not be in Utah. Hopefully we get one ring out of him before he moves on.

Let’s not talk like that. I don’t think there’s any reason he can’t be exactly that here. Is Westbrook great? Is Lillard great? Is Anthony Davis great? All small markets as well. There are many things that will factor into decisions that are years away. Including max contracts, the fact he’s the type of player that can qualify for super max contracts, etc. If he remains the same person he is today when he’s bigger and richer than he is now, it doesn’t worry me. Being in Utah will not hinder him in the social media world we live in today. Winning and money will make his decisions.
