I like Kevin Hervey, Isaac Bonga and Jared Vanderbilt. I might give a look to Kostas Antekoumnpo.
Yes, I think one of the reasons he dropped that far is that he was essentially a 3yr college player (having sat out one season after transferring) and was viewed as having limited upside. GM's love the 19yr old players who can jump out of the gym.Well Rodney Hood was decent for a while... wasn't he picked #21?
Hill played at IUPUIComing out of college Hill was a scorer. He changed his game a decent amount in SA.
You'd hate him if you actually watched him. One of the softest players in the draft. Knee injury history, high hips, and too skinny.Hervey. Dude can legit shoot the 3 and looks natural as hell doing so, not just catch and shoot either. Has great length. I’ve read he’s gotten in better shape. I also love small school guys because they’ve not been coddled their whole lives and I feel like will have a bigger chip on their shoulders and bust their ***. I really think he could be an above average starting 4 in the league.
I’ve heard the soft comments. While I do think it’s tough to teach someone to be aggressive and play tougher, I do think it’s possible. To a degree. I think we have a core of guys here too (especially if we keep Sef) who can bring that out in him. So that’s not a huge concern for me. Especially given his great length which can help overcome some of that. You'd hate him if you actually watched him. One of the softest players in the draft. Been watching Okobo and I kept seeing shades of Shelvin Mack. Okobo is being guys on skill and guile everytime. Once in a while I was hoping he could beat a guy with his first step or a dribble move. You know if anyone ever switches a pick and roll. Are there other videos that show him being explosive?
I’m not sure if it’s realistic, but I still like the idea of Svi from Kansas in the 2nd.
Has good enough size to play off-guard, is a good shooter, and despite being a 4 year player is still just 21 (just turned 21 on the 10th).
Decently athletic at worst.
But c’mon...6’8 and a 40% shooter from 3? He can play somewhere.
Weirdest thing with him is that he’s 6’8 with a 6’5 wingspan. Hardly ever see that in the NBA.
