Because Harden doesn't try to take a shot like Mitchell does, he tries to draw a foul by overexaggerating any kind of contact he gets.

So don't pass to Favors who shoots over 50%, don't pass to Joe who shoots 40%+ from deep, don't pass to Rudy who has one of the highest shooting percentage sin the league. Instead, keep chucking up shots at a 40% clip and barely 30% from deep.

And that's why we keep losing.

Favors shoots 25% from 3. Hw plays ok in pick and roll but the Jazz don't run that much. So no Favors isn't an option in this offense. Joe takes as many shots as anyone could expect from him already, I'd be fine with him taking more fyi. Rudy only scores when he gets tips or a pass inside the paint, it's a tough way to get the ball to him.

He did such a good job last year of exploding horizontally off one foot and extending his long arms to get his shot off though. I guess teams are just scouting that better.

He looks gassed. That or unhealthy. He has no lift when he jumps. And his shot seems flat.
