LOL it happens every game. Yes it can happen, even players play down on the baseline if they want. You obviously dont know basketball rules hahaha

Westbrook left the bench during the free throw and stepped over the court. They won't call it, but it's an easy violation of the rules. If he had done it after the ball hit the rim, no big deal. But he did it when the shot was being taken. Easy call if the NBA cared.

Go ahead and get the last word in Mr. Gotta get the last word guy.

I don't think that I've ever been this frustrated as a Jazz fan in my entire life. How the hell can this Jazz team be 16-18 with the talent we have? I just don't freaking understand. And not only are we 16-18, but we're playing like complete trash on both ends consistently. This is basically the same team that was the best defense in the NBA last year. Now we couldn't buy stops if they were on sale. I don't know how much more of the season I can deal with. Its causing too many headaches and is not good for my blood pressure. I'm gonna burst a vein

I have no idea what you're talking about. The reason for the 16-18 start is that we've had by FAR the toughest schedule in the league so far. "Playing like complete trash on both ends of the floor", "Can't buy stops if they were on sale", have you not been watching the last several games? We're playing much better and the defense has been really, really good. OKC hadn't played since Wednesday and the Jazz were on the second night of a back to back and we still had a chance to tie the game and send it to overtime. I'm feeling really optimistic about what I've seen recently, especially considering how much easier the schedule is going to get.

I don’t feel much differently. Jazz still look like they’ve turned a corner. Would’ve been nice to win this one, and it was there. Just one too many things going against them tonight.
Ya this was a frustrating yet fun game. I felt like the jazz were the better team. Just wasn't our night. Missed a ton of easy ones. Offense worked to perfection just a little off. Even with pg going off.

Would love to draw those ****s (except for adams, I freaking love that guy. Oh and Grant, loved how he immediately tried to help DM after DM fouled the **** out of Grant) in the playoffs again. Would be another awesome series

And IDK. I look at that Westbrook play and I think it was a good no-call. Westbrook sold out to get his hand on the ball, and he got there. His hand was on the ball before the body contact.

Yeah but that’s not the rule at all so it was 100% a **** call. He still had the ball and the hip check through him completely of his path. Just cuz you get your hand on the ball doesn’t mean you have control of it or are allowed to then run into the guy.

The weirdest part of the Westbrook strip is that he doesn't even get credit for the steal, Paul George does. If Westbrook reaches in and dislodges the ball (let's assume cleanly since it wasn't called) then do they think Mitchell regathered it? Could there be a blocking foul called in that case?

It's a weird play, I wanna see the NBA ref twitter explanation for it.

Yeah, I'm not sure. He had his hand on the ball, so they are both in possession of the ball.

Everyone is complaining about that, but was it a foul? I've seen the replay a couple of times, and it looked like he got his hand on the ball.
I think he got mostly ball and it wasn't much of a foul but there was a little contact.
The real issue is that that play gets called a foul 95% of the time regardless.

Or he would have gotten seriously injured.
Nah. Would have thrown it down and got a free throw. That one handed one he attempted he cocked way back and wanted to do a flashy statement dunk (I don't blame him) but I think if he just goes up with two hands and quickly dunks it he would have had a 3 point play
