What's new

Game Thread - Jazz @ Clippers 8:30 PM MTN

Grayson is not very good player at this point in his career.
I think he's showing some signs, at least. I've been legit worried that he was never going to be playable on defense. I have hope now. I think his offense will come around. He needs to get a lot stronger, though.

I think even from Allen's 1st half in his first game back when he looked completely out of sorts on both ends and what he showed today is a huge improvement. I'm still nervous when we have to play 3 - 4 mintues of the bench unit with him at PG but it hasn't been a complete disaster like it was in his first minutes back from injury, and I thought he even showed a couple of nice things tonight. Fish made a good point about him getting penetration in the paint he just couldn't hit floaters for example.

Lots of if's I know but:
If Donovan plays like he's playing.
If Rudy plays like he's playing.
If Exum plays like he was playing before the injury.
If Rubio plays like he played the 2nd half of last season.
+ Ingles, Korver, and Crowder.
+ a soft schedule.
= a top seed. Home court advantage @ Vivint Smart Home Arena.

Daydreaming. Just stay healthy.

Harris had a subpar game ( still had 17 points and shot 3-6 from deep though), however I went to bed at the end of the 3rd quarter and then watched the 4th quarter this morning. In that 4th quarter he looked like everything we could want in a stretch 4 next to rudy. He had one play where he did an amazing crossover dribble that would have impressed tim hardaway, right into a step back beautiful 3 point swish. He also hit an open corner three that looked perfect and another 3 from the free throw line extended area. He has a really nice stroke and good ball handling. I saw him show a decent mid range game as well.

Tobias harris shooting percentages on the season are pretty eye popping. Over 50% from the field, 44.5% from three point land (4.5 attempts per game), and 88.3 % from the line.
