Mitchell finally figured out their shoddy p&r coverage but it was too late.

they had multiple consecutive stops too-- joe was just cold. alas. a fun last five minutes (and conveniently, the only 5 I watched)

From the box score it looks like we had a pretty good 1st half and then the roof caved in on us in the 2nd half! Nice to see Rubio back in the lineup.....but Korver had a bad shooting night which is what probably did us in! Donavan with another strong outing, though! So much for our 9 game winning streak!

Portland scored 109, shot 50% from the field and 44% from 3. People were saying our defense was back to last seasons form though?

I do agree with CJ to an extent that Korver kind of did the Jazz in. I think he was the main reason Nurkic had a really great 3rd quarter. He was the weakside help and a lot of times he gave really soft fouls for And 1's.

The Crowder errant shot to end the 3rd that lead to the Layman 3 hurt a lot as well.

Mitchell/Favors being lazy on shooters early in the 4th when Layman/Leonard splashed back to back shots was a big moment as well.

Yup I heard him saying his leg "was hanging on by a thread" on 97.5. Sadly with everyone else injured if he's able to play he kind of has to.

Played stifling defense in the first half, didn't even show up for the second.

Their defense was meh in the first half. Quite a few lapses abd they were not connected. Blazers just were not clicking and were intimidated by Rudy.

The way the game was called in favor of Nurkic and getting Mitchell off the floor was a huge factor tonight.

Some really dumb turnovers and some bad defensive lapses... other than that it was them making shots and us missing... we had some pretty good looks but none fell.

They pulled Gobert out and backdoored us to death.

Thought the refs were inconsistent and blew some stupid techs... on both teams.

The two Rudy turnovers were he decides to drive and the dumb Kyle turnover in the first were the ones that stuck out in my mind... just bad timing... we were rolling pretty well on the Kyle turnover and they end up scoring. Just felt like we had some swing moments that went against us.

I thought we got a good whistle in the first quarter... thought Rudy had the right to get upset... the sequence with no foul and then getting the foul called on him... I think it was a foul but Nurkic traveled first... was kinda rough.

That one was on us though... we were a little non-chalant at times.

The refs gave Portland the two weakest *** technical fouls I have ever seen. Like I'm looking at the replay and wondering if the fix was in against Portland. Those first two techs were ridiculous.
