Jazz should tank the 2011 season to draft Myck Kabongo

Or Marquis Teague. This draft is stacked, the Jazz need not tank, but missing the playoffs one more year would be ideal so Minny can't claim their pick in the best draft since 2003.

But what happens if there is no season? Did Stern ever say how that would affect the lottery order?

Most of this kids are one and out. The top high school prospects are usually always the top picks in the draft. Unless you make a name for yourself in the NCAA

NBA Comparison: Rajon Rondo with a way better jumpshot and range

I wouldn't say 'way better' in regards to his jumpshot and range. Still a long way to go in that area. He also needs to get a lot stronger to be able to finish in the paint. No doubt he's electric, but still a few years away from being ready.

I truly think we can a playoff team next year if we stay healthy the whole way through and Devin has a good grasp on what Ty wants to get done out there. If we miss it and land in the lotto, I think there will be other options besides Kabongo (I doubt he'll go pro after his frosh year anyways).

For whatever it's worth, Brad Beal will be my favorite player in college next year. He is a future all-star. He's going to be a freshman at Florida, and I'm assuming one and done.

Usually but not always. I'm just saying, we should wait a while before we have stupid speculation on players that we know almost nothing about.

I want a SF in next year's draft. At PG, let's find someone cheap that might work out -- Ben Hansbrough.

Do you think it's possible that the age limit to when someone can enter the NBA is increased again with the next CBA?

I'm not so sure that we should be already proclaiming next year to be the "best draft class since 2003", quite yet. The new CBA may add a slight twist to the status quo.

LOVE Brad Beal.
