Then you’re either stupid or ignorant.

Golden state would be kicking our *** as would Portland. OKC would beat us this year. Not to mention the top EC teams.

This has much more to do with us doing nothing last summer than with Houston being a bad matchup. We should’ve known that we had to upgrade last summer. The don’t know why we didn’t.

Oh, here we go.. the whole 'you're completely stupid or totally ignorant' reply. You need to chill dude. You're upset I get it and chill the f out. Honestly, the only teams we'd have trouble with is GS and Houston. But! We match up well with GS. We still lose but we'd give them a good fight. I still have my hopes up with Houston series too.

So, Lord Bullshittaton, since you are so critical of CWebb, could you provide some detailed examples of his commentary to support your contention? He certainly has correctly pointed out the mistake by Quinn of changing the way the Jazz play defense for the playoffs.

no

How is the step back three that scary? You know he is shooting when they do the step back.

The step back is the most devastating move on the perimeter in today's NBA.... Has been for many, many years now..

Utah plays a very down-hill style so you dont see it here as much. Plus Ricky and Mitchell aren't really good 3pt shooters at all, so the set 3 is plenty difficult enough.

In the opening 5 mins of the game Harden Hit Rubio with a stepback that created what seemed like 10 feet of separation...

They hit their open shots we didnt again. 0% chance winning shooting 39.8% from the field and even worse 21.1% from 3.

Their defense isnt that good. We just are chocking away. We started passing up easy good shots because we couldnt make an open shot to save our lives and they couldnt miss. Hope it turns around.

I doubt that Cuban ever said that. Dirk was an institution. Dallas would have never traded him.

As for the playoffs, the Jazz were never competitive against the Lakers in the DWill era. But even when the Lakers swept them, they were much closer scores.
2008 they played LAL pretty tough. It should have been 3-2 jazz with game 6 in SLC. The refs kept the Lakers in the game in the 4th quarter in game 5. Whenever the jazz would start to pull away the refs would blow the whistle.

Mitchell just has to be better. Not really any excuses for him to he as bad as he has been the first two games.

He can’t handle the physical, in your face nature of D Gordon is putting on him. Let’s see if he figures out how to adjust. Rockets are absolutely locking down the perimeter.

we will shoot better at home and win game 3. hope we can tie it in game 4

I was lucky tonight.
It is my wife's birthday and I took her to tepanyaki and set the game to record.
I checked the score and said **** this ****. I ain't gonna watch a single minute of this disaster. Embarrassing.

Btw, I was listening to David Locke on the drive home and he said that favors is the worst 3 point shooter in the NBA.

Locke’s a ****ing idiot.

One thing to consider, and maybe a glimmer of hope is that the end score doesn't matter, only if you won or lost.

All Houston did was hold serve on their home court. Jazz simply must do the same for games 3 and 4 and then get back to steal one game on the road.

Jazz can do it, they just need to accept make adjustments and play confident.

Something has felt off all year.

That was my perception. The energy was not the same, the smiles a little forced, the comradely a bit less.

They started the season slow, then Burks got traded. Dante signed for big money but was a no show again. Joe has family matters. they say Udoh is the locker room leader?

Just some strange vibes.

You think favors is a good 3 point shooter?

To say he’s the worst 3 point shooter in the NBA is like saying Boban is the worst penetrator in the league. Favors barely does it and when he does, he’s not good.

I will assume Locke is right and that his 3 pt efficiency is league-worst. But it’s on so few attempts it’s basically not worth mentioning. Westbrook shooting 29% on 5.6 attempts is worse to me because he’s negatively affecting far greater possessions in the course of his sucking.
