As I have said before. Its the left that is moving to the extreme, and when they claim that the right is far right its only because the left has shifted so far left that the right looks far right to them.

Dude if you think the democrats in the US are left wing by anyone's standard other than the insane tea party republicans you're nuts. The American left would likely be part of the right wing faction of our Labor Party, they probably wouldn't even be Labour members in the UK. Get a ****ing grip.

This data clearly shows that both parties are growing a part. Looking at the graph both Medians have moved from the middle, pretty simple.

No, they are starting to come back to the real conservative side of the social/moral issues. They mostly have been using their party to force their religious beliefs through more government intervention. Less government is the conservative way.

Plus regardless of what you or my feelings are the data on this chart shows the medians of both sides moving further left and further right. Both are moving a part.
