What's new

Proof that it is the left that is moving to the extreme. Data from Pew Research

Not surprised the divide is widening. We see it in voting in Congress to where cross-aisle voting is all but non-existent.

So, when I say the political spectrum is moving far left without data, I get called a troll.

When I post the data. I get crickets.

Funny how that works.

I was not aware that "consistently liberal" = "far left". You seem confused.

You are referring to the 2nd post. Which I just threw in there for good measure(its semi unrelated). Go back to the main course and chew on that for a bit.

Dude if you think the democrats in the US are left wing by anyone's standard other than the insane tea party republicans you're nuts. The American left would likely be part of the right wing faction of our Labor Party, they probably wouldn't even be Labour members in the UK. Get a ****ing grip.

Far left, further left. Whatever. The country is a lot further left than it ever has been and they like to keep calling the base of the Republican party far right. My point is that if you think the Republicans are far right its because you are far left. I just posted the proof. You get a grip bruh. Try reading.

This is just a counter to the retarded notion that the far right is somehow main stream. Or that Trump's base is far right. Its narrative pushed everyday.

Yeah and the earth is flat. When was the last time a left wing extremist shot up a church or blew up a medical clinic?

Again, the lack of responses is that no one takes you serious. As the least respected poster on Jazzfanz we have low expectations, but you keep bringing them lower. Honestly I read and respected DutchJazzer more than you and he sent me death threats on here.

First of all do you know what an editorial is? Why would you post that when you could send people to the actual article and research directly instead of some opinion piece? Not only is it an opinion piece its also from a very conservative bias website. So were you reading from that or just googled it to confirm what you already believe? http://assets.pewresearch.org/wp-co...47/10-05-2017-Political-landscape-release.pdf

This data clearly shows that both parties are growing a part. Looking at the graph both Medians have moved from the middle, pretty simple.

Oof another Hack thread that all I can say about is... sad.

Where do you think I got the term "consistently liberal" from? It was in your original post. Now you are so confused you don't even read your own posts, apparently. Truly, the height of trollery.

Lack of responses doesnt mean anything. I didnt comment because this seems obvious. Republicans in particular have become much more moderate on social issues in my experiences.

No, they are starting to come back to the real conservative side of the social/moral issues. They mostly have been using their party to force their religious beliefs through more government intervention. Less government is the conservative way.

Plus regardless of what you or my feelings are the data on this chart shows the medians of both sides moving further left and further right. Both are moving a part.

I also dont know why this matter other than mud slinging. Political sentiment is like a snaking river that cuts into a rock until getting pushed back the other direction for awhile.

You know we see it the same. Politically speaking in Americas context, that's moderation of the party members' views.
