The Anti Tankers are to blame

The Jazz have painted themselves into a corner. We are stuck and cant really improve without a lot of luck or internal growth.

For years Ive been on board with tanking and trading pieces that dont fit the timeline and that weren't going to win a championship.

The whole reason why I even signed up for Jazzfanz was to make a point about trading Al Jefferson and Millsap for some assets and then tank in order to set us up for the future. There was a ton push back like always. And now there is light. The future has come to pass and now we see why we should have done it. Now we see why it was worthless chasing a first round knock out with mediocre talent, and half assing the one time we sorta tried, and ended up with ded Exum.

Every year from the time we traded Deron to the day we drafted Gobert was completely mismanaged. Even the year we drafted Gobert was mismanaged.

Even attempting to build a winner surrounding Gordon Hayward. What a joke that was. Did anyo3in their right mind actually think he would lead us to a championship?

Now here we are. SMH

Our choices or options at this point are pretty stupid to be honest. Add Conley and drop Favors? Really? Thats going to put us over the top? Its delusional dreaming.

Coulda shoulda done better.

Hey do you guys think that year we lost in the first round with Jefferson is helping the team today? Because that's what I kept hearing. The valuable playoff experience was gonna come in handy one day.

I think it's still a little too early to say this, lets see how the offseason plays out first.

You're just upset that the kaak tastes salty.

The odds of ever winning a championship are about the same as me scoring with J-Lo.

Every clown who thinks they know what move could or couldn’t have been made to get there are full of piss and wind. It’s just pot luck that you’re in the right place at the right time to draft those couple of freak individuals who turn out to be capable of such feats.

Just enjoy following the ups and downs of a well run and competitive team.

I am an anti tanker and I take full responsibility. DL and Quinn have done their job but it is my fault. Apologies to all Jazz fans.

Thank you.

Finally someone who can own up to their mistakes. Its refreshing like koolaid

Ahhhhh! It all makes sense now. This is why you like Trump. He is the true tank machine. He'll drive us right into the ground, and then we'll be able to finally find someone to lead and unite our country.

I think it's more than just an obvious statement to say that the Jazz General Management in the past 20 years hasn't done a very good job with all things considered. First we promoted KOC to our GM from failing at his job as a scout for the 76'ers and for the Jazz for a short time. DL came on and really lost my respect with his lack of vision. But the one thing I am satisfied with the Jazz for not doing, is having a tanking, losing mentality. As a fan, I don't even understand how you would get behind and support that. I'd rather die with the Jazz never winning a championship, but knowing that they competed every year, than have them win a championship because of intentionally tanking year after year. Look at Philly. The NBA changed the draft rules because of them. I hope they never have success. But the Jazz just need to build from the bottom up and do it smart. It all starts with the draft. Golden State had originally built their championship team from the draft. (Pre Durant). So did the Spurs. Tanking should never be an option.
