What's new

2019 NBA draft day thread

I'm not watching ESPN, but the following guys are probably sitting stonefaced in the Green Room: Kabengele, Nas Little, Bol Bol, Kevin Porter Jr., Keldon Johnson... maybe even Nic Claxton.

We don't have anything to trade, why do people expect us to trade up in the 1st? What would we trade?

Right? Bradley/Exum are negative values. We can't really trade future 1sts. And no one is gonna let someone buy a 1st after we stole Gobert.

Some of these teams don't want multiple rookies. Some of them are trying to preserve cap space. So they'd kick the can down the road til next year.

They've been showing Little, he pissed.

Paschall
Roby
Little
KPJ (maybe, off court questions)
THT (maybe, off court questions)
Windler
Keldon J
Dort
T Davis
Weatherspoon
Okpala (not a fan personally)

Any of these guys would make some sense for the Jazz. Some will be there early in the second.

Then you have the bigs too who might not be good fits in what we need but maybe you could argue value

Bol
Fernando
Claxton
Kabengele

C'mon DL

Tony Bradley and cash, prob not worth more than a mid second though.
2024 2nd and $1.8 million was good enough for #41. Jazz can easily make a move like that if they can find a seller. No need to put Bradley into any deal for now.

Spurs were reported to be interested in him back when he was drafted and are sitting at #29. Could see a Jazz/Spurs deal with him included. Spurs use their G-league team to develop rookies more than any other team in the nba.
