News, rumors and buzz around the draft and free agency

Meh. The only one who really cares about Neto is Rudy. Cut Raul and Rudy will have to look for a new buddy to occupy his free time.

So basically the way Utah gets Bogdan is if the Pacers get DLo, which probably only happens if the Lakers get Kawhi.

So yeah, I'd rather that not happen.

I don't think it would be Georges if the Jazz keep Favors. It would more likely be Bradley or Neto. Personally I'd try to trade Bradley and see if I could get a pick or two. I really like Neto as a backup PG
I would be surprised if Bradley had any value. I’d send him to a team with about a million cash to cover a bunch of his salary, and it would open another mil in cap. Still not sure that would even work.

Da ****? I didn't know we were also going to be losing neto in order to get Conley

So it was Grayson, Crowder, korver, 2 firsts, AND neto?
****. I'm a neto stan

Neto is the tipping point. LOL!

As to your other point, I don't think we could have also kept Crowder and also signed Tobias for $30M and Rozier for $12M. Would have needed to get rid of someone else, IINM, whether that was Crowder, Exum or Favors. I'm assuming since we'd have Tobias, you're assuming Favors would be waived.

In that case, the analysis is incomplete since we still have Favors or will use $17M on other players.

Conley>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Rozier.
And I'd still take Favors over Harris. The reason the Jazz are considering a downgrade at PF and backup C is to improve team depth.
As for Crowder, he was a fan favorite who shot like ****. He was this team's version of Trevor Booker.

you know net rating is one of the most overrated stats in the NBA, right? it has everything to do with sample size/coaches' rotations/opponents you are facing. garbage players can easily score sky-high net ratings by playing against scrubs in garbage time. and themselves don't even have to play well, as long as their teammates do and the team score points.

your top 10 leaders in net ratings during 2019 season are:

rj hunter
john holland
alan williams

jaylen morris
davon reed

let's sign them all. shall we?

Apparently the NBA is position less now days.

Trade Dante. Gobert can be the backup PG. Or make Donovan the PF if Utah adds Bogdanovic.
Not everything is "positionless." Jazz have to press their advantage of having great length at almost all positions.

You mean Raul wasn't even top 10? Sounds like a championship team right there if we sign those guys. Raul can come off the bench.
