News, rumors and buzz around the draft and free agency

Think about it. In 2006, the team cap was $53. In 1996, MJ demanded $30 million from the Bulls which eventually led to lockouts and the current salary cap structure. Kind of shocking that our Jazz pushed the Bulls almost to the limit when one of their players made more than most teams.

10 minutes of Favors >> 48 minutes of JV
JV generally plays his heart out and has like 12 points in the first quarter, then goes silent, so I'd have to agree. I'd rather have DF for his solid 24 minutes than JV for his stellar 10 and rather forgettable 20.

Indy fans seem calm and are saying that they can match anything we give him and he will stay. He seem to like it there.

They are competing for the sixth spot in the East. We are a contender if he comes here. Money being even, Jazz are a better destination.

I would love Favors and Bojan, but unless that's feasible with a S&T for Ricky, I prefer Favors to Bojan. I really, really love what Bojam showed in the POs this year, but Derrick is an outstanding, almost-all-star-level player with a long, long Jazz history.

Let's go! Get Bojan and let Favors get into free agency early. IF we get Bojan, would you rather use room MLE on a wing like Temple or a backup C like Ed Davis?
