Best team chasing him with title hopes, very clearly defined role accentuating his strengths. Assuming money is similar I think it’s a no brainer for Bojan!

Jazz hand-picked him as their target, know the Pacers' cap situation and priorities, and are going to offer him something in the neighborhood of $20M. I'd say the odds are 60-40 in the Jazz's favor.

Don't want to get my hopes up, but I voted "yes."
Probably read too much into the cancelled meeting with Portis. But Bojan and his agent know Utah can only offer ~ same amount as Indiana. So they're not going to be trying to have a bidding war. Unless Indiana didn't want to go that high and this forces their hand.

The fact that they cancelled the meeting with Portis make me think the Bojan deal is real close.

Although the more numbers I unpacked with Portis the less I liked him. He was probably Plan D anyway.

I'm gonna say yes. I have a feeling that Indy has prioritized other free agents ahead of Bojan and that's why the Jazz seemed to switch focus fast and things between the Jazz/Bojan seem to be moving quickly.

I feel like Brooklyn's signing of Durant, Kyrie and Jordan might push him closer into signing with the Jazz, if winning means anything to him. Indiana really has no chance at competing for the East after the Improvement of the top teams last year and now Brooklyn is loaded with talent, making things even more difficult. At least he knows that if he joins the Jazz, he'll have a chance at getting to the playoffs and possibly making a deep run.

I think it's pretty simple. Bojan is either using the Jazz to set his market, so Indiana can match the offer, or he's serious about coming to Utah. It doesn't sound like other teams are involved at this early stage of free agency. I doubt Bogie sits around and waits more than a day or so. He's probably going to get close to $80M.
