He’s going to make about triple annually more than we can offer, and not exactly a position of need.

The good thing is vets will come play for a team like us who has a chance to win it all.

Sign Bev or Green. Sign Vinsanity to a minimum.

Love this offseason so far. This roster reminds me a lot of the 2009 Orlando Magic roster. Surround Rudy with 3 point shooters just like Orlando did. Teams are going to have to decide whether to help on the high screen roll or let Ingles/Conley/Bojan/Mitchell shoot the 3. My only concern is rebounding, but that didn't seem to hurt that Magic roster. I imagine Gobert will continue to get stronger and that will be one of the areas of focus this off season for him.

We cannot really blame the FO for not going for it. This deal might not look great at the back end, but for next season it should give us good chance to compete.

No longer any excuses? We have been very good the past two seasons with zero all stars and a 21/22 year old leading the way on offense.
I have never felt the need to make excuses for this team. Now they will be even better.

Jazz still a few bodies, but there is now an absolute tuckfon if firepower on this team. I suspect the Jazz will sort out the cap, get a trade for Favors done if possible to a good situation for him, use the room exception to sign a backup 4/5, and see if any of the 2nds stick.

The only area where we can't sustain an injury is Gobert, but that's a given.
