Because he might take the "best hair in the locker room" crown from Conley? How would Caruso threaten Conley?

I don’t understand it either. I’d think that Caruso would be high on our list. He fits our strategy of bang for your buck. He’s far better than Exum and will easily take Over his role regardless of whether Exum has injured himself by thanksgiving or not.
Plus, poaching him from the Lakers helps to limit the role players they need.

Donovan Mitchell is the backup point I hope. Conley or Mitchell should be running point for at least 40 minutes a game. Ingles can run the offense the other 8 minutes with Exum defending the opposing PG.
Exum won’t be playing because he’ll be injured.
Another reason to really look at another option besides Neto. Neto can’t play more than 2 games in a row before breaking too. I don’t understand how paying someone who can’t stay healthy to fill a roster spot benefits us.
When Exum is injured, you stagger Mitchell and Conley's minutes even more so one id in the courtExum won’t be playing because he’ll be injured.

I just read the jazz didn’t have to waive neto but wanted the cap space instead. Interesting
