Hong Kong?

You sure do love to label people

Yeah, that was my first thought as well. I'm not an alt anything. I believe people should be able to think freely and realize their full potential as human beings. When all is said and done, I think most of us fall short in that regards anyway, without living in a nation like China, with its repressive social credit system, and worse, it's so-called reeducation centers.

As for the situation in Hong Kong, I thought it very interesting to see that people elsewhere in the world are still inspired by what I would call "the idea of America", or look to America as being an "ideal", to aim for in governance. So, it was fascinating to see all the American flags and people singing our national anthem. I would like to know who the philosophical leaders of the Hong Kong movement are, after seeing that video clip....

Mmmm. My favorite snacks are memes. Keep em coming.

Remember how NPC used to post about how he fantasize about raping newborn babies?

Is that an okay thing for me to do? Obviously not. My panties are jammed half way up my ***, just like they are designed to do. But I don't think posting straight up lies as if they are based on something legit (aka, slander) is okay. I don't expect you to understand, but I hope that the mods do.

I never slandered you. I just reported the news. Im not biased or fake, its sensationalism.

You seem genuinely surprised that people like the US and its way of life.

Half the world is dying to get here for a better life, and half the people in this country think this is not a good place, and needs a lot of changes.

Maybe those two half should talk to each other, and figure out why there is such a big discrepancy in the view of the US. Or maybe you should switch places, for like an experiment. Just to see what happens.

I lived in a country whose people are coming here in droves. I know why they’re coming here. I also know it’s not as great as they think.

You would be mistaken. Where that particular Hong Kong demonstration was concerned, I said I found it interesting and fascinating.

and half the people in this country think this is not a good place, and needs a lot of changes.

The people who seem to think this is not a good place seem to be the same people who think diversity is bad. They seem to be led by Trump, who really seems to hate his country, or certainly a great many of its citizens. I believe it represents less then half. One good change would be removal of the Chief Bigot and Chief Troll, one and the same person obviously. Would not solve our many problems, including any instant escape from the orchestra of hatred that he himself conducts, but it's the start we'll need.

This is just completely disingenuous and not true.

You cant say the people who are trying to preserve what this country is all about are the ones who hate it. It makes a whole lot more sense that the people are who are trying to change the whole fundamental process are the ones who hate or dislike the country.

Again, has nothing to do with race. Its so weak to throw that argument out there every single time your logic breaks down.
