You and all the other turks are homers so i expect you to back him regardless of how disapointing he has been in two games back andthe start of this. Pkm sees nothing but blue so i also expect him to say nothing but great thing about kanter. Reality is nobody has seen him play in two years and the first glimpses are underwhelming to say the least. I hope i am wrong, but does not look promising.
 
i dont think enes is bad, he is just too raw right now, but he has great potential. I actually think Turkish coach sucks. Turkey will be a bust in the tourney, not Enes
 
I'm glad everyone is realizing how Kanter is going to play his rookie year. People on here were making ridiculous predictions of him averaging 14 and 8. This guy is going to get 15-20 mpg his rookie year (if there is one) and will average around 5-7 ppg, and around 5 rpg. He isn't the low post offensive prodigy everyone here thought he was. His main offensive move looks like barreling in with his head of a post up, then getting his shot packed because he is lowering himself to overpower the defender and doesnt have enough explosiveness to finish.
 
I just hope he brings over another Turkish beauty queen. Man those dark haired ladies are pretty!

i didnt say he played good, but the mistakes i have seen are rather reasons of match lackness than being not talented. But i am against this Jonas is better than Enes thing. If you really wanna make a comparison we will have better idea in euro basket. And also its very different to play in Europe and nba. Enes's game seems pretty legit for nba because he is very strong and he will only improve in the offensive end. Jonas doesnt seem to have a very strong body

15-20 probably pushing it. I see 8-12 with tons on dnps.
 
Don't disagree Cyrone. I predicted one year of 'getting it' and being mainly a rebounder. However, his points come mainly from 8 to 14 footers and putbacks. The barreling thing is not his game, really.

Year 1 - Rebounding (I like the predictions you made above)
Year 2 - Better at everything (12 and 8)
Year 3 - 16 and 10
Year 4 - Dialed in

i agree about the rookie part but i still think, if he gets around 20 mins he will grab around 8 rebs and more than 5-7 ppg for sure. If he is gonna score only 5-7 then why did we spend 3rd pick for him?
