If the Jazz has the guts to trade Conley, then...

The player I really want for this team is Lonzo Ball. Great ball mover, athletic, long, good defense and high basketball IQ. I am a believer that his shot will continue to improve and if it does then he becomes a great role player. He is the type of guy I would like to play with and I think he would compliment Donovan very well. That being said maybe something like...
New Orleans: Conley
Jazz: Ball & Redick

A rich man’s Exum.

no to Ball, he is made of glass like Exum and just imaging circus his dad would bring to Utah.

I had already steeply discounted Conley’s PAST value when I quoted 0.30 cents.

Also, I’m being very serious, obvi.
I’d much rather eat the sunk costs than make it a full dumpster fire. That trade would be a fireable offense.

Yer right. To be clear, I wasn't saying I like the deal. I think the lesson here is there is no easy fix. Moving Conley with that contract would be tough, and the return questionable. As much as I didn't like the trade last February or again in June, I think the Jazz are going to have to ride it out.
