I think it's pretty certain that Conley opts in to his $34M this summer, even if he starts playing better.
Don’t be so sure. Look at Al Horford this past summer. You just never know.

Al Horford at $100M was a bad signing by Philly. They were trying to grab a player and hurt their rival Boston at the same time, but it's now biting them in the ***.

Clarkson can not do that on any given night.Clarkson is another guy who can go for 25-30 on any given night, along with Conley, Mitchell and Bojan.

Ok....He had 33 pts in 30 mins last Friday vs. Memphis, including 6/8 from 3pt. He's had a number of big scoring games. Scoring is what he does.
Can't guard? What are you smoking? So you think paying $28M/year to a guy who puts up 13/7 and can't guard out on the floor is a good idea?

If you're looking at basic stats, then yeah you going to think Horford blows. The dude is still a top IQ defender and passer who makes teammates markedly better on both ends.
He lost him. He isnt a liability at all. The dude is a monster. I'd kill to have him at his contract for the Jazz.Maybe at the 5. At the 4, he's a liability because he's a limited driver, limited shooter, and limited defender out on the floor. There's a reason that Danny Ainge let him walk.

Please point me to these excuses. Because for the life of me, when people have asked me why Dante hasn’t been playing, my answer has been “because he’s not in the rotation”.....
I'm interested to know whether Cavs view him as having potential and giving him significant NBA minutes or whether they were simply going after the asset play.

Tony Jones is the worst be far. Knows nothing yet posts like he has inside info which constantly turns false. Dude should just really stop.https://www.slcdunk.com/2019/12/24/21036321/nba-utah-jazz-trade-dante-exum
Whether it was Shelvin Mack, Emmanuel Mudiay or Jeff Green, there was always a reason Exum shouldn’t get play time. And media inside and out of the Jazz (sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference) would put out all the excuses of why someone as ineffective as Shelvin Mack would get minutes over Dante.
Hello Tony Jones...
