He is not a good perimeter defender, not a good shooter, he is not able the attack to rim after pick&rolls. What is the point of him exactly?

He's a good defender. He's been breaking the paint and making plays. He's a smart player who doesnt turn the ball over and is able to drive and kick.

His 3 point attempts completely unguarded were sooo far off and his release is awful. Untenable

So Quin should “shake up the minutes” to whom, exactly? Oni has sucked, Forest has sucked, Udoka is hurt, Brantley has been ok but not great, Hughes is too green, Ersan has barely learned the offense/defense because he hasn’t been here, Thomas is a work in progress. I just don’t think he could have changed minutes at all to make much of any difference.

Your point is valid, we do have too many projects on our bench, particularly considering our playoff position. That being said, look at how guys like Saric, Payne, Carter, Kaminaky , Crowder and Craig have had their minutes adjusted, leading to more players that have that all important game time experience (not garbage time - big difference).
