What's new

If anyone needs a BB fix and

I don't want jones to be the best player in the nation. I want the jazz to draft him so bad. Been a jones homer since last year.

Some highlights from the game (WARNING: TURN SOUND OFF)

Jones #3 (He scored 52 pts, but notice the pass at 3:00)
Gilchrist #14
Teague #25
Davis #23

It depends on where the Jazz are drafting, but several of these prospects look good. Right now, they probably rank....what: Davis, Jones, Gilchrist/Teague? I can see Terrence Jones still being criticized for not having a true position, but he'll probably be better off playing at the PF spot, no? Teague looks a bit like Ty Lawson to me--good, but not necessarily stellar. He doesn't look real cerebral.

Jazz have to take BPA wherever they draft. If that means moving a player or having someone come off the bench, then fine. I also can't wait to see Qunicy Miller and Brad Beal play.

Yep, Brad Beal and Quincy Miller will be exciting to watch and could be within reach, possibly.

Most consider the UK players to go in this order: Davis, Gilchrist, Jones, Teague, Lamb
Jones is very quick for his size, but he is definitely a tweener. He can play either position and the match ups will determine which he plays, game by game.

wants to see some potential future draftees in live action, UK is having their first live and full-speed scrimmage tonight at 5pm (MST). I will come back and post a link to the game as soon as I have it.

Those playing that would be possible Jazz players have an asterisk; (draft order per DX)

Anthony Davis (projected #1)
*Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (projected #8)
*Terrence Jones (projected #12) - Looking absolutely beastly, seriously
*Marquis Teague (projected #18)
Doron Lamb (projected early 2nd round)
Darius Miller (will go 2nd round, though not currently projected by DX)
Kyle Wiltjer (scouts are calling him an old school mix of Kevin McHale and Keith Van Horn .. 5 star player overshadowed by the rest of the class)

There are a couple other potential NBA players, but these are those to watch.

The best roster money can buy.Cal sucks as a coach and for the example see how his nba record is when everyone can pay players

Hater. And even suck at that.

Chicago Sun-Times report

Before Davis committed to Kentucky, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that his father, Anthony Davis, Sr. asked Kentucky for $200,000 for a commitment from his son.[7] The article was pulled from the website soon after it was published, but was reposted on the Sun-Times' website a few days later.[8] The University of Kentucky and the Davis family have both threatened to sue the Sun-Times over the article.[9][10] However, no lawsuits have been filed by Kentucky or the Davis family. According to the Sun-Times reporter responsible for the article, three other anonymous university coaches told the newspaper that Davis Sr. asked them for money for his son's commitment, with the dollar amounts ranging from $125,000–$150,000.[11]
