So who was Dallas’ enforcer in Round 1? Who was Dallas’ rim protector?
Don’t get me wrong, if we could have Crowder in favor of Niang for 10-15 mins a night, I’d be all over it but there’s a slight problem with that considering that we’re over the cap and Crowder would cost us $9.2 mil compared to Niang’s $1.7.
Yes, Crowder’s attitude does bring value, and he did have 2 really good games vs the Lakers, but let’s not forget the fact that Crowder can shoot you out of a series pretty damn fast. Hell, we’ve seen that first hand.

Crowder missed a zillion shots in the playoffs. He enforced himself out of the playoffs by CHOKING at the 3 point line.

The best contribution Crowder made in the series against LA was the salsa dancing.
Seriously, he is too inconsistent to have on a team that relys on any of their 1-4s hitting a high % from 3.

He would absolutely eat up Niang’s minutes and we’d be a better team for it but it’s not worth the extra $7.5 mil in salary....
