We just need to get healthy and we will win all of the championships

Funny thing is, if conley was healthy we very well might have won the chip this year. I wonder if the suns would win the championship without cp3 or without booker.

Ya they are so lucky that their best player is out. Kahwi was averaging 30 ppg on 57% shooting this post season. I think the clippers are pretty unlucky. At the end of this game the ball went out off cam payne and the clippers were asking for a review and the refs didn't look at it. Called it off batum. Bad luck. Plus they have Boogie cousins

They haven’t even played serge this postseason because of his knee. A healthy Ibaka and Kawhi changes things. A healthy AD might’ve changed things too…

Certainly. Clipps and lakers would probably both be better than the jazz and the suns.
Man I wish I could have seen gobert go against zubac and/or Ayton instead of that small ball crap. So frustrating.

No, I don’t think so. I’ve seen enough. We aren’t winning anything until we improve our speed, athleticism, and length. Especially at the 3-4. If we hadn’t lost to the Clippers we would’ve lost to the Suns. Bogey, Jingles, Oni, Niang are just oof

Yep. I think part of that is on us. Yes, Rudy has got to figure out some offensive moves down low. But we weren’t even looking for him. If you get him the ball and he ****s up? Yeah, that’s on him. But we weren’t even trying to get him the ball. Our offense became very predictable and Rudy I think became disengaged. Not good. He’s got to remain a threat. He might never become Ayton down low but defenses still need to respect him.I remember several times a game he would be wide open and we’d ignore him for a contested 3 Cuz anayltics guys say 3s are best

Suns played most of the series against the Lakers with a one-armed CP3, and CP3 in these 2 games against the Clippers has looked terrible coming out of the H&S protocols.

This whole playoffs is a war of attrition.

I tell you what though... These last 4 teams playing... Suns, Clippers, Hawks, Bucks... They may have the injury bug next year.

With a condensed season and offseason, not to mention a full 82 game schedule next year, just like what happened to the Lakers, Nuggets, Heat, and Celtics this year.

This postseason has been awesome in terms of the games, but holy ****... the NBA's greed is going to cost a lot of teams with the injury bug.

Fair enough. My thinking is that Booker, Payne, CP3 would be ripping us a new one. Either they’d be getting all the way to the rim or killing us in the midrange. If Rudy came to help, Ayton would be ripping us a new one. Their overall team speed and length would’ve worn us down. Or they could go small and dare Rudy to beat us down.

They’re also tougher. CP3 and crowder are tougher than Conley and Bogey/Royce/Jingles.

Anyway, that’s my thinking.

I mean I know it was the regular season and not the playoffs but the suns were basically healthy all season and the jazz missed Conley and Donovan (much of the time at the same time) for a big stretch and the suns couldn't catch us.

Imagine if the clippers choked against us instead of the other way around and we had just easily dispatched Memphis and then beat the clippers and we were healthy and rolling with the #1 seed and homecourt advantage. I bet you would feel differently if that were the case.

Hell, both teams simultaneously choked hard tonight..... Every bit as hard as the jazz did. Just doesn't look as bad when you choke and your opponent is choking at the same time rather than hitting every shot they take. 84-80 after a free throw fest at the end of the game lol. Neither team even hits 80 freaking points without all the intentional fouling. Talk about choking.

Another way to look at this. Lets say PG13 makes 2 free throws in game 2 and only the suns play epic historic horrible offense in game three and the clippers shoot just a little under their averages instead of miles under and the clipps win by 20 tonight. Clippers up 3-1. Would you still feel that the suns are all that and a bag of chips and the jazz couldn't beat them?

I don't know about saying both teams "choked" tonight.

Tonight was the hardest fought game I've seen in the NBA this year. Both teams were mentally and physically spent.
