What's new

Playing GM while we all wait for Dec. 9...

I have close to zero interest in any of those Hornets players. Seeing them all together under a Jazz banner made me throw up a little.

At least The Thriller would get his man.

I agree. I really don't like Ariza and wouldn't want him here at all. Okafor is just eh, Decent defender, good rebounder, but still undersized for a center. Jack's a good backup PG.

I don't think there is a wing player I dislike (that gets paid more than 5 million) than Trevor Ariza.

No trade saved. FYI

I don't know why that's not working. Maybe a lag on ESPN's side.

here's what I did:
Utah sends: Jefferson, Miles
Utah receives: Sefolosha, Collison

OKC sends: Maynor, Sefolosha
OKC receives: Rush, Miles, Indy's future first (with protection)

Indy sends: Collison, Rush, future first (with protection)
Indy receives: Maynor, Jefferson

Why does NJ do this trade? They want memo so much they give up a valuable draft pick?

It's all about Deron and Howard for NJ. They amnesty Outlaw, and move Farmar and Petro for an expiring (Okur) and they are suddenly loaded with cap space to sign a guy like Howard and give Deron his big extention.

It's a very similar concept to what Houston got from NY when they took on Jared Jefferies. As a bonus they could actually use Okur, but, that's secondary to the cap savings.

I know a 4-team trade is a no-team trade but how about this?
https://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=734u22x

Utah: Curry/Posey (trades glut of bigs for PG swap, & save all of Al's contract)
Indy: Scola/Harris/CBell (imo.. Scola + Hibbert is a nice FC, Harris is a more experience ver of Collison, & this gives George more PT)
GS: Granger/Collison (Collison can push the court w/ Ellis & it finally gives them a wing they need. Amnesty Biendris & push for Nene would make em scary)
HOU: Jefferson (McHale gets is protege back)

Curry / Watson / (FA)
Burks / Bell
Hayward / CJ / Posey
Favors / Millsap / Evans
Memo / Kanter / (FA)

* BTW - Hollinger's Analysis gives INDY -9 but it predicted a "no change" when I first tried this. Also, it doesn't factor Paul George's emergence from his playoff performance & if needed, I guess we can give Indy our later of ours or GS's 2012 #1.
