Predict the Jazz starting lineup

PG: Harris - This one is obvious
SG: CJ Miles - I think the Jazz will go with the veteran to begin the season. Hayward may make his way into the lineup 5-10 games later.
SF: Millsap - The lockout has helped Millsap get into shape to play the 3, plus he increased his shooting range. I think the Jazz will give it a shot before making a big trade.
PF: Favors - Future of the Jazz
C: Jefferson - Also obvious

To me it is straight forward, they start the vets:

PG - Harris
SG - Bell
SF - CJ
PF - Millsap
C - AJ

Maybe see some minor deviation at SF/SG but this is what I expect will happen.

It isn't what I think SHOULD happen. I would like to see this:

PG - Harris
SG - Burks
SF - Hayward
PF - AJ
C - Favors

Again, with perhaps a minor deviation at SF/SG. But I would like to see this kind of a lineup for much of the season, subbing in Kanter for AJ whenever possible.

Harris
Bell
CJ/Hayward (could go either way)
Sap
Al

I'd like to think Ty will be smart enough to close halves with CJ/Hayward, but I'm not that hopeful.

barring trades, here's my prediction

Harris
Hayward
Miles
Millsap
AJ

but this is a bit silly because there will be many changes to the starting lineup this season

Still got to go with LogGrad on this one. Millsap at 3 will depend a lot on if Burks is ready to play and if we bring in a vet to play some wing.

I am very interested to see how Burks/Hayward play together. They could be a serious back-court or wing force. They would be interchangeable, no need to label SF or SG, just the wings. If they click, Haywards passing and outside shooting and Burks slashing and attacking the rim could be devastating. If they don't and they struggle figuring out their positions or Burks takes longer to develop and his outside shot and defense never really come into line then it could be a disaster.

The Kanter/Favors duo is a tantalizing prospect. That would bring some immediate energy. If either of them can put together a more complete offensive game, particularly inside, it could be magic. If they both struggle offensively and get lost on defense, it could be a nightmare.

Either way, it's going to be interesting, and undoubtedly fun to watch.

The fun to watch lineup:

PG - Harris
SG/SF - Burks/Hayward
PF/C - Kanter/Favors

Here's what I think it will be and what I hope it will be:

Harris
Hayward
Millsap
Al Jeff
Favors

What coaches may do though:

Harris
Bell
Hayward
Millsap
Al Jeff

Harris, Hayward, Millsap, Favors and Jefferson is my prediction. I also think Evans gets more time at the 3 this year. In fact, my off the wall prediction is that Evans and Bell get roughly the same amount of minutes, off the bench.

Okur not in anyone's starting lineup? I think if he is healthy and proves to be to Corbin he could be starting again along side Millsap and Jefferson. I see Corbin continuing to start with the Vets at the beginning of the season.

Harris
Bell
Millsap
Jefferson
Okur

I am pretty sure we will start this way in the regular season.

Harris
Hayward
Miles
Millsap
Jefferson

In the preseason we might see Millsap at SF some.
