I would love Johnnie Bryant. Not because of the easy link to Donovan. I believe Johnnie Bryant could be an excellent head coach and was who I wanted to take over at the University of Utah a year ago.

Not going to hate on Snyder as he was great for us but we will never win a championship playing Royce 31 minutes per game and possessing more stubbornness than Jerry Sloan.

So much this.

I was open to Q getting a pass for two years. The Bubble was messed up. We were without Bogey, Denver caught fire in addition to being a bad matchup, and Covid really seemed to mess with our team chemistry. Last year? The team looked great in the regular season and just got banged up in the post season. It sucked that our backcourt was so cooked. This year? 100 percent on him. We knew the weaknesses of the team. We had options. We didn’t have to play Royce so much. We could’ve given Butler some mins to help Mike and Spida out. We didn’t have to make Spida the end all be all for the offense. And then came the constant 4th quarter meltdowns. The insanely bad defense. The ignoring of our 5s on offense. The team regressed and by the time of the playoffs, looked completely disinterested in playing together anymore. They played with zero intensity of chemistry. By the end of that series with Dallas, this team clearly had quit on Q. And to a large extent, he had clearly quit on them.

So I’m good with this change. And I think Q has mostly earned it.

I really want to know what gives fans any confidence a coach who has no head coaching experience will be great?

What's the reasoning beyond just a feeling/you like the guys personality?
