Dwight Howard almost a Net?

So will you all be happy for Deron Williams or kind of pissed if Nets get Howard?

I kind of wanted to see Dwill just leave the Nets for more vindication.

Also this trade could effect the Jazz with Gerald Wallace going to Orlando and Portland just getting draft picks.

I think its safe to say that the Jazz should be better than both Portland and Denver. Maybe we could see a playoff run?

I find it hard to believe that Orlando would take that after seeing what had been offered for Paul. They will be in just as good or stronger situation mid season when the Nets are struggling and Deron has his bags half packed.

I hope the trade happens. As long as the Lakers aren't getting or going to get Howard then I'm all for it. Plus the loss of Wallace as stated will only help as well.

I just want these big pieces moved soon. So the rest of the dominos can fall.

Everyday this goes by the deron Williams trade looks better and better. Can you imagine going through this with Deron?

Strangely I actually kinda feel happy for the Nets in a way..

They did rolled the dice and basically gave us: Favors, Harris and Kanter for essentially - nothing guaranteed, 1.5 year of DWill rental.

Also I wanna see:

1) What DWill can do if he has a legit talent playing alongside him.
2) Whether a pairing of legit all star PG and C is actually enough to win a Championship.
3) DWill's reaction when things start to not go his way (ala Utah 2.0).

I still think the Nets have a very decent chance to retain DWill. They can pay him a max deal for 5 years, they are going to be in Brooklyn, new arena, filthy rich owner etc

Stern won't let this happen because he is the man....

The narrative of the Chris Paul thing is hilarious. It's as though most people don't know that THE NBA OWNS THE HORNETS AND CAN DO AS THEY ****ING WELL PLEASE with Chris Paul.

The league signed off on a trade that involved a retired player/current coach. There is no person happier than David Stern that Bosh and Lebron turned the ire of fans from his (very poor to meddling for the benefit of major market teams) way of running the league towards the players.
