Wolves have amazing depth. Both teams have really good starting lineups, but I'm sure about how good their depth is. Honestly, I would prefer to see Rudy win. However, I could see both teams being good for the next 2-3 years, but the chances of them keeping those cores together long-term may be difficult.
There’s a decent chance some **** will have gone down by 2029 such that they cough up a real good pick then, but those odds seem about the same as the Knicks coughing up a lottery pick in 2023.It's hard to see the Cavs ever being that bad again. Worst case scenario is they are like a late seed playoff team every year. Garland/Mobley is going to keep their heads above water for a while
+1. Fan can root for more than one team. I follow the Grizz and the Jazz and don't think i'm stupid. And as you say, if Rudy or Don achieve well with their team, i will be happy for them. And if Minny or Clev are not that good, i will not cry too. It's funny when some people tell others "you're not a Utah fan if you root for Rudy to succeed with Minnesota". Cause I am pretty sure they will root for us to lose as many games as possible at the same time. So one could say "true fan always roots for his team to win!" Also following the logic that we should wish for the worst for Timberwolves and Cavaliers it would mean that we should hope for the worst possible injuries to Rudy and Donovan.. That's not really what I would sign up for.
I will definitely follow both Cleveland and Minny when I have a chance, I can't really say that I will root for Minny, I would rather call it sympathising with Rudy's new team, hoping he will achieve more than has here. But if Minnesota fails I am not going to cry. I won't feel emotionally involved like with the Jazz.
