It's time to start Watson

It's clear from tonight's game (and every game last season that Harris has played in) that Watson is more composed, he runs plays properly, less turnovers, and is more scrappy on defense. He basically makes his teammates better.

IMO - it's time to start players on their merits instead of their 'reputation'.

PG - Watson
SG - Hayward
SF - Miles
PF - Favors
C - Jefferson

6th man - Millsap

I love Harris.

Who runs the Jazz's offense better right now, Devin Harris or Earl Watson?

Jazz's offense has a fluidity with Watson that hasn't been seen with Harris at point during preseason games.

Tempo increases, more motion and more scoring opportunities.

Um, the problem is the Jazz offense sucks. Who cares if Watson is better at running a crap offense? Bottom line.

Look at when the PG has the ball, they're always looking back in forth at TyCo, because he controls everything.
Devin is a leader. He needs to be allowed to call plays and control the offense and be free-flowing and creative.
If you're going to cage Harris, then you're not utilizing his talents properly.
Might as well trade Harris to a real contender that will utilize his skill if TyCo is going to play dictate-ball and tank for the lottery.

Why don't you buy the team, fire everyone except Harris and build your Championship team that way?

Good luck with that BTW.

I like how the two of you are not content to fight in only one thread.

With the team we have I think Watson would not be a bad choice to start. He seems to click better with our players than Harris does. Harris will probably improve with the team, but I don't think he is all that great. I hope in the next year or 2 we can pick up a real PG.
