2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Huh?

He used your exact criteria to disprove your point.
The point is exactly what you both missed. Superstars are players that dominate the league leading their teams to titles. in his list Giannis is the only one of them that did that. The rest were just there for the ride and are neither superstars nor are they champions because of them.

Based on 2 minutes of highlights… I like Keynote George a lot… he’s Donovan Mitchell with Chris Paul playmaking (I’m only doing superstar comps or busts for ***** and giggles this year… get on board with the hyperbole).

Kinda thiccish bulldog body with shooting creation and supposedly good defense. Think he’s in my top 5 (which will consist of 15 players this year… again hyperbole).
I ready some are comparing him to jaylen brown.

Is the goal to make bad post after bad post? There are tons of bona-fide superstars that don't win a title. Every year we probably have 10 guys that are playing at a superstar level but only one team can win a title. That doesn't mean those other guys aren't bona-fide superstars. Please stop making stupid posts and dumbing down the board. We already have Cy for that.

Just to clarify I understand you are like most people that think a bonafide superstar does not have to carry his team to a championship, and that I am in the minority in that regard. Suggesting my post are bad, is only more proof of you not understanding the bar I use for what is actually a superstar. There are plenty of likely superstars that have the goods but don't get it done ior just haven't I will give you that. Ja, Luka , Joker. Outside of those 3 who could still do it but haven't I can't think of anyone else I would consider a superstar in the NBA other than those who have lead their teams to rings.
Chuck is not a superstar and never was, Great player not a superstar get it?

No one is
I was wrong it was cam whitmore they compared to brown

Cam Whitmore (Villanova, SF, Freshman)

NBA Comparison: OG Anunoby/Jaylen Brown

Depending on how Cam Whitmore’s self-creation evolves over the next five years, he could look like OG Anunoby or Jaylen Brown.

At this point, he still mostly relies on outstanding strength and explosiveness for scoring and racking up easy baskets. But he’s also trending upward as a set shooter, and unless Whitmore totally struggles to improve his defensive IQ, his 6-foot-7, 232-pound frame seems like a lock to help defensively and allow him to guard ball-handlers, wings and bigger forwards.

A baseline projection envisions an Anunoby type who’s more of a third option than one who’ll carry a team’s offensive workload.

Gradual honing of his skills could lead to the second coming of Brown, who combines overwhelming tools and athleticism with capable self-creation and three-level shot-making. The strides he’s made with his jumper suggest his scoring development may be worth betting on.
